Candle Gift Sets – A Thoughtful Present

A candle gift set is appreciated because is shows that some thought has been put into the gift. Gift sets can take many forms, from a number of individual candles in fragrances chosen to complement each other to sets of votive candles. You could also give a combination of candles and reed diffusers that provides the recipient with a choice of fragrances and also the means of dissipating them. Let’s discuss each of these in turn.

It is thought that the fragrance of certain essential oils offer particular benefits meaning you if you combine them carefully they make an especially thoughtful gift.

Jasmine and lavender are soothing and are good to burn shortly before bedtime. By offering a gift of each of these two scented oil candles, the recipient can choose which to burn each evening without using the same every evening. If you give someone a reed oil diffuser as a gift they will soon come to realize that they offer the advantage of not involving a live flame. There is no doubt that the dancing flame of a candle is attractive, a fragrance reed diffuser has the advantage in that it can be used safely when you are not at home, meaning you are greeted by beautiful aromas on your return home.

Your diffuser could complement the effect of the scented candles, or could offer a completely different aroma that can be used at appropriate times when a live burning candle might not be safe. You can use reed oil diffusers at night, for example, when you are asleep, or in the kitchen so that it smells nice in time for breakfast.

4.  A Gift Set of Votive Candles

You could also purchase a ready-made gift set of votive candles, in different colours and perfumes, that can be used directly in the small jars they are provided in or can placed in a three-way candle stand or tree. This would also be an appreciated gift, as would a gift of candles in a tin. A scented candle tin, particularly a set of them with different aromas, is a very imaginative gift for somebody who enjoys barbecues or outdoor entertaining.  The tin lid can be used as a wind-break, and the gift itself indicates a degree of thought and appreciation towards the recipient, whether he or she is a friend or a relative.
